Escrow
Paid by the buyer. The platform now uses tiered transaction-fee rules so the quoted management fee depends on deal size and enforces sensible minimums for small deals.

Buyers may adjust the transaction fee if they want faster attention or more review. By default the fee follows the platform tiers (see below); a slider also allows raising the rate for extra coverage. The chosen fee is shown before you confirm and the UI explains any extra deposit required.
As you move the slider, the panel shows how much more you need to pay. If your credit balance covers the difference, Change becomes available. If it does not, a Deposit button appears so you can top up and come back.
Together with the establishing fee, it is included in the total escrow charged. See also how sell-order escrow works.

Buyer always pays establishing ($1.10 = $1 site + $0.10 market owner, owner credited when the contract opens after accept) - either when listing a buy order or when opening against a sell. Seller matching a funded buy does not pay establishing again. The buyer also funds the 1.1% transaction fee with deal escrow. Seller incoming shows the full order price when the buyer funded the fee.
