How to create a market

A market is a place for people to buy, sell, trade, resell, hire, or offer services. Clear wording helps the right people find you.

Before you create

Browse existing markets on the Markets page to see how other owners name and describe their venues. Use search, filter, and sort to find examples close to what you want to offer. The Browse markets guide covers badges, pagination, Join / Open, and the Markets tour (demo rows clear when you finish).

Title

Keep it short and specific. Good titles name the product, service, or category people will look for - for example “Freelance logo design”, “USDT P2P”, or “Office furniture resale”.

  • Prefer plain language over slogans.
  • Avoid all caps and extra symbols.
  • One market, one focus - split unrelated offers into separate markets.

Description

Explain what people can buy or sell, who the market is for, and any basic rules or expectations. Markdown is detected automatically - Create market shows a live preview of headings and lists (tap Edit for source). Expand opens a full writer with Write and Preview so you can check the finished look before you publish.

  • State what is allowed and what is not.
  • Mention delivery, digital goods, or in-person exchange if it matters.
  • Prefer short sections (`###` headings) and clear lists over one long paragraph.
  • You can edit the description later from your market as the owner.

Before you publish

Creating a market makes you the owner. On each opened contract in your market you receive $0.10 plus 0.1% of the transaction (buyer-paid establishing share and fee share). See escrow fee calculation.

After publish you can add requirements and turn them on for joiners. Strict requirements can reduce or focus who joins - that is your strategy. Review mandatory requirements. You must agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before Create market completes.

After you publish

Create market opens your new market page right away. We confirm the open to you in the notification center (Telegram and email when you are away or offline and those channels are linked). Site admins receive the same stack. The public news channel also posts a short alert with your market title and display name only - never email or Telegram handles - plus links to the market page, this guide, and FAQ.

The Markets browse tour Open step and every market Tour start open Tour practice: weekend bike repair - a professional practice book (not your live room). It seeds a variable-depth buy/sell ladder (thicker near the open spread, no auto-match), 24 requirement threads (Required and Discussing) with replies, plus compact Depth / Price charts. Buy and Sell list every order in one scrollable column (Status filter still applies). Reply flow: tap the answer box (sample types in) then Send reply. Open Market requirements via then a second tap on Market requirements on every device - the menu ignores the same-gesture ghost tap after ⋮. The sheet sits above the Tour dim and covers Copy / Tour / ⋮ so page chrome never peeks through. Search similar filters the demo list; tap Search before keywords type. After Market requirements opens, Tour lights the panel title (tip stays clear). Practice Set Required advances after Set. Next-only tips block the spotlight cutout until Next. Matching tips ring the similar row, then Open & reply opens the Replies sheet (whole sheet, then thread, then Write). After Send or Ask, Tour highlights the landed result, pins your You row, and scrolls it into view. Next-only tips lock Open until you continue. After Ask, Tour highlights each demo reply, then chats on your thread. The next tip opens immediately (no Watch gate). The green action ring stays above sheets and menus (tip stays below so the panel title stays clear). Owners walk Set as mandatory; members walk Accept and past-due restore. Done clears every demo. Skip anytime; Restart from Tour on the market header. Guests see a bottom-left Guided tour card - X collapses to a help FAB; refresh restores until Sign in. A good live requirement is Is this a reliable market? with a few clear replies before you make it mandatory.

From there invite people to join, place orders on the order book, and add requirements. Members can add notes; owners can update details or remove the market when it is no longer needed. If support removes a market, you receive a clear notice (owners: web and email; joined members: in-app).

Ready to continue? Open Markets and use Create market, or keep browsing examples first.
