Required vs Discussing
- Required - a mandatory item with a correct answer (and often a due time). You must accept every Required item to join. After you join, a past-due Required item can deactivate your orders until you Accept again.
- Discussing - still being refined by the owner and members. Shown in Requirement confirmation and on the join sheet as read-only context - no checkbox, and it does not block Join.

For market owners
- Open Market requirements from ⋮ on the market header (second tap on the lit menu row - not the same gesture as opening ⋮), then open a question and review the replies.
- Choose Set as mandatory requirement at the bottom of the replies panel.
- Edit the question if you want clearer, more professional wording. The original question stays visible for context.
- Enter the correct answer members should accept.
- Set how much time remains (seconds, minutes, hours, or days), then choose Set.

Members are notified right away. Before the due time, orders stay active. After the due time, orders for members who have not accepted become inactive (they are not deleted). Accepting later reactivates those orders.
For joined members
You can accept a mandatory requirement at any time - including after the due time. Open the requirement, review the text and correct answer, then choose Accept.
- Before the due time, you can keep working; accepting early is still recommended.
- After the due time, if you have not accepted, your orders in that market are deactivated. Messaging those inactive sell orders is blocked until they are active again.
- Accept anytime to reactivate your orders, or remove inactive orders yourself from the order book.
- The order book can filter Active, Inactive, or All orders.
What you see in the list
The owner's requirement wording is the main title. If the owner edited the original question, the original text appears underneath for reference. Each mandatory item also shows accepted count, not-yet-accepted count, and remaining time.
Tour: Search similar and replies
Market Tour always opens Tour practice: weekend bike repair - never a live book. The practice room seeds 24 requirements (Required + Discussing) with replies, and full buy / sell ladders (one row per price step, scrollable end to end). When Tour starts, any open Market requirements or details sheet closes first so Join stays clear on phones. Later, on phones, Tour waits for ⋮ then Market requirements on every device when that step arrives (menu and sheet sit above the Tour dim on phones). After Search similar filters, the tip docks so the panel title stays readable. Tour then opens a matching thread, reads replies, and replies there. When nothing fits, it types a unique Ask, waits for Ask requirement, confirms your You row, then chats on that thread. Practice switches You to owner to Set Required (badge), then back to member to Accept past-due Required and restore inactive orders. On Write your answer / Send reply, and while the Replies sheet title or thread is lit, the tip docks under the top bar (full tip always on-screen - never clipped by the phone chrome or composer). Open a match lights only Open & reply and blocks past-due Review from stealing the tap; if the control is missing, Show (and auto-heal) brings it back so Tour never soft-locks. Accept Required opens the past-due Replies sheet and the hand cue sits on that sheet Accept - not a duplicate behind the dim. When demo Balance or Escrow moves, the top bar funds pulse (with a short toast on narrow screens). Done clears every demo. FAQ: market requirements tour.
